Image
Wildflower Project 8/10/2021 Project Completed 3/11/21 Tracey will be doing a Wildflower project planting some new native Woodland flowers to increase the biodiversity of the woodland for the wildlife, especially for the pollinating insects. Most of the species ordered we have already in the wood but of limited numbers, So it is hoped to increase the numbers we have of these native plants.  We have ordered some bulbs & seeds from Garden Supplies Direct. Watch this space for Updates. 14/10/21 We are currently waiting for the bulbs and seeds to arrive, hopefully within the next few days.  Then after Tracey has worked out a planting plan we will get them planted ready for the Spring. 17/10/21 Tracey planted 100 Ramsons (wild garlic), 49 wild Daffodils & 100 Snow Drops in the woodland today. We also planted 1 apple Tree & 2 Pear trees near the Bench area. Tracey has cordoned off planting area with red and white tape So the area is not disturbed while they grow.  23/10/21 Trac
